Borislav Mavrov, PhD is Programme Director of the European Institute in Sofia. He holds a PhD in modern and contemporary history.
In 2004 Borislav Mavrov specialized at the National University of Ireland (Galway), and in the period 2005-2007 he participated in the international research program of the European Commission "CLIORES". He was also the head of the “Europe Direct” Information Center in Sofia from 2008 till the end of 2020. Dr. Borislav Mavrov is also a lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski.“
